About Anthony Rose
Anthony Rose is the wine correspondent of the Independent newspaper. He also teaches at Leiths School of Food & Wine. As a wine competition judge, Anthony has tasted his way through Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Chile, California, Japan and France.
In the UK, he is chairman of the Decanter World Wine Awards Argentina panel, gives wine talks and chairs wine events. Anthony also contributes to Decanter, Wine & Spirit, the World of Fine Wine, Wine Report and the Oxford Companion to Wine and has won several awards for wine writing including the Glenfiddich Wine Writer of the Year Award 2000 and 2005, the Prix Lanson Black Label Award 2000 and the Prix Lanson Champagne Writer of the Year 2002.
